OUR JOURNEY
The journey of the 335th Birmingham (Sparkbrook) Scouts Group began on 4th November 2024, with our first session held at UKIM Sparkbrook Islamic Centre & Masjid. From day one, our mission has been clear: to place young people at the heart of everything we do and to inspire them to become the leaders and changemakers of tomorrow.
We are proud to have over 60 young people registered with our group who are from ethnic minority and disadvantaged backgrounds in Birmingham’s inner-city communities. For these young people, our Scouts group offers not only adventure and learning but also a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where they can grow, build confidence, and unlock their full potential.
Our group is run by a dedicated team of around 25 trained volunteer leaders, all of whom are DBS checked and committed to delivering a meaningful and enriching programme for children aged 6 to 14.
