What We Do

WHAT WE DO

Throughout the year, we deliver a wide range of physical, educational, and recreational activities, including:

  • Weekly Sessions (1.5 hours): Scouts work toward achieving badges and awards through a variety of activities—both indoor (arts and crafts, first aid, map reading) and outdoor (archery, climbing, sports). Sessions also include discussions on Islamic topics to support their personal and spiritual growth as young Muslims.
  • Educational Visits: We organise trips to places of social and civic interest—such as fire stations, businesses, and institutions to help scouts better understand British society and how they can play a role in it.
  • Sports Outings and Hikes: These encourage teamwork, discipline, and physical fitness while offering fun and excitement.
  • Camps and Survival Weekends: Our outdoor camps give young people the opportunity to experience nature, learn skills like outdoor cooking, tent pitching, and orienteering, and develop independence, confidence, and social skills. Importantly, these weekends also allow scouts to experience living in a spiritually enriching, Muslim environment including praying together and engaging in reflective learning.
